Hi everyone I’m back with my weekly DT project for Imagine Design Create, and this week I’m using the Colour Splash set of stamps.

Lorre Colours Speak2

Lorre Colours Speak2

To make this card you will need –

How to make this card

  • Cut some black card smaller than the card blank and 2 pieces of white card slightly smaller than this.

  • Take one of the white squares, and use various Distress Inks to randomly stamp paint splots over the entire piece.  Using the circle die cut an aperture in the centre of the card.

  • Apply some Anita’s glossy over all the paint splots, and leave to dry.

  • Place the paint splot card directly over the other white square of card and draw a faint pencil line around the aperture, this ensures you will stamp your sentiment in the correct place.  Use Versafine to stamp the sentiment inside the pencil circle, carefully erase the pencil mark.

  • Use foam pads to attach the splot card to the sentiment card.  Glue both to the black mat, and glue this to the card blank.
