Spritzed Border Frame

Thought I would share with you this fairly simple looking card but actually three different stamp sets were used…. just showing how versatile all the designs are from Imagine Design Create and can all be used together beautifully.

Hi again

For this project I actually remembered to take some progress photos…I’m usually so engrossed in what I’m doing I completely forget!

  Abstract border lines

First of all on a 6” x 6” mat and layer card cut I stamped the frame using the Abstract Borders set in Versafine Onyx Black….simply stamp across each other to produce the frame.

Then the boring bit!.... using low tack tape I carefully masked off all around the inside edge of the frame to leave just the centre square exposed. Make sure to cover all of the rest of the card too with scrap paper or card. Then I spritzed the exposed square with pink, purple and a little green & blue (this actually produced a little splodge of yellow too!.)

Then still with the tape in place I got the Abstract Border set again and used the bubble border just around the edges in distress ink for a little bit of depth and interest.

Using the Mini Butterfly Blot stamp set I stamped again in distress ink a single butterfly slightly going over the edge of the mask. I then stamped another on a separate piece of white card and cut it out and layered it over the top of the other in the frame. I then removed the tape and stamped the “Thankyou” from the Block Sentiments Set in Versafine Onyx Black on a separate piece of card and attached to the card with foam pads

Hope you have a go at mixing up your stamp sets …it makes them go so much further!

See you again soon
