EVERY DREAM....Dandelion & Dragonfly stamped card
Posted on
Hi everyone
This week is a beautiful card using Kerri-Anne and Claire’s stamps together. Simple lines give this card such a stunning look
INGREDIENTS
Tonic Studio’s glimmer card stock
Artistry Ink Pads – Wedgewood Green
Mellow Green
Nuvo Glitter Markers – 189 Morning Moss, 180 Venetian Jade
Tonic Studio’s Pearlescent Green Card
HOW TO
Using the small dandelion seeds from Never Stop Making Wishes stamp set, I gradually worked my way around the outside edge of an 8” x 8” card. Do wipe the stamps clean after each use if you use a stamp platform as they can be sticky on the back so will jump leaving a shadow when repositioning them. I know, I did it.
Next I cut the gorgeous green pearlescent card to approx. 1 cm (1/2 an inch) smaller than card, then the patterned paper to 1 cm (1/2 inch) smaller than green pearlescent card. These are your mat and layers.
The patterned paper is the one with ink runs on it. I stamped the large Dandelion followed by the small dandelion from Never Stop Making Wishes Stamp Set in Mellow Green Artistry Ink direct to the patterned paper.
The dragonflies were stamped onto stamping card, again using Mellow Green. I coloured these in with Nuvo Glitter Markers Jade and Morning Moss. When dry, fussy cut them out. I like to use my pokey tool to bend the wings. A ball tool or edge of a table will work too. It gives a lovely dimension to your card.
Stamp the wording ‘Every Dream begins with a Wish’ onto a small piece of white stamping card and trim to approx. 3mm around the wording.
Now to assemble
Mat and layer your green pearlescent card onto your base card followed by your patterned paper using sticky pads to give a lovely layered look.
Next stick the dragonfly bodies to your card but leaving the wings free.
Now attach your sentiment and your card is complete.
This card is perfect just to say hello or for a birthday. The fresh green gives a lovely lift after all the snow and cold weather
Much love to you all
Debbie xx
