Hello to you all,

Naomi here on the blog today sharing one of my first Design Team makes for Imagine Design Create. I'm really enjoying using the fantastic products. I'm an absolute stamping addict so the gorgeous designs from the IMD team are perfect for me to play with.

Today I'm sharing an 8x8 card I made using the A7 Floral Fun and A5 Family Tree stamp sets.

I love the large tree stamp as you can use it in so many different ways. This is just one of the cards I've made using this glorious stamp set and I look forward to sharing more with you soon.

For this card I decided to use black ink. I loaded the stamp onto my stamping platform so that I could make sure I got a good clear stamp. Using a piece of stamping card 17cm x 17cm I then added black Versafine ink in layers until I was happy with the coverage. I used the flower stamps to add blossom and new leaves around the the branches and used the swirl stamps to extend the branches.

Next I coloured the blossom and leaves with watercolour pens and a water brush and added a bit of sparkle with a Wink of Stellar pen.

I mounted the topper I'd created onto a piece of black card 1/2 cm bigger that the topper then layered this onto some Imagine Design Create grey wood grain paper 18cm x18cm.

I stamped the large quote sentiment and cut the piece I wanted from it into a banner shape. I also used a spare piece of the wood grain paper to create a sign shape and stamped the word family onto it.

Finally, I stuck the sign on with foam pads so it was hanging from a branch and used a fine liner pen to draw on the string. Then glued the smaller sentiment in place.

The stamps are such good quality; so crisp and clean I love them.

I'm looking forward to sharing my makes with you all every Monday. Have a lovely week and I hope you find some time to craft.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to pop on by.

Naomi
