Cupcake easel card - using Time for Tea stamps

Hi Everyone!

Hope the week has treated you well and that you are able to get crafting over the weekend! Today I've got an easel card for you which doesn't use a huge number of products and I really like using a circle die to make the card base a little bit different! I hope you like it!

What I used:

Imagine Design Create Mini Tea for Two A7 Stamp set

2 colours of card

Circle dies

Nuvo Hybrid Ink in Blue Lagoon

Nuvo Glitter Drops

To make the base I folded the base colour card in half and then placed the largest circle die on the folded piece of card ensuring that the die 'hangs' off the edge of the fold so that when it goes through the die cutting machine it leaves the fold in the base.  I then scored half way down the top part of the card base and fold.  I cut a circle using the same die and then glued to the fold on the base to create the easel.  I matted and layered twice alternating the colours.  I then used the largest cupcake stamp to go around the outside.  Then I added another 2 mat and layers in the centre to enable the sentiment to be stamped on.  I should say at this point I used pearl card and the Nuvo ink pad stamped superbly onto it,  I also stamped the cupcakes halfway around the base.  I then added Nuvo drops between each cupcake image.  For the easel stopper I used a bow die that I had in my stash.

Wishing you a great weekend.
