Layering with Distress Oxides and stencils

Hi Everyone

Today I’ve been playing with layering distress oxides. I’ve used more muted colours as like everyone (I suspect!)  I have particular favourite colours that I tend to use more than others!

layering with distress oxides

What I’ve used:

Imagine Design Create Dandelion Hearts 6x6 stencil

Distress Oxides

-Evergreen Bough

-Iced Spruce

-Vintage Photo

-Seedless Preserve

I began by blending the evergreen boughs and the iced spruce across the card. I then used the iced spruce to blend lightly through the dandelion hearts stencil. I then used the vintage photo and seedless preserve to blend through the make a wish stencil. I then stamped the sentiment using the seedless preserve oxide.

The one tip I’ve learned in doing this is to ensure that each layer of ink is dry before adding the next!

Happy crafting
