Hello everyone, Its Eli here today with a few DT samples i have made using the super cute Finley Fox stamp set by Imagine Design Create.

finley fox 3

This little guy has been so fun to play with, I'm really happy with how these all turned out. I kept the colouring really simple by using the same watercolour technique and distress ink colours for all three cards.

To colour Finley i first stamped a whole lot of him on to white card using onyx black versafine ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I like to heat emboss when i water colour a image as it helps to contain the flow of colour. I used Carved PumpkinSpiced Marmalade and Fired Brick Distress Ink to colour Finley, by pressing a little of each colour on to my craft mat and then using a wet paintbrush to apply the colour to the head, legs and tail, starting with the lightest colour and working to the darkest.

For this card i cut Finley so he would pop up from different angles from each square, I used a sentiment from the Finley Fox stamp set and layered each square onto black card before gluing them onto a kraft card blank.

For this card i glued one of Claire's papers from the Wood Grain texture paper pack onto the front of a 7x7 card blank, i then cut a circle from the bottom using a die and glued Finley to the inside of the card so that he show through to the front.

And finally from me today is this card made using Imagine Design Create Nesting Rectangles and Solid Rectangles stamp sets with Distress Oxides. I have also decoupaged Finley before sitting him on one of the rectangles to finish the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today, I look forward to sharing with you again next week. Eli x
